1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the ClassVault browser extension or the website at getclassvault.com (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

The Service is provided by Site Masters Agency OÜ ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Estonia.

2. Description of Service

ClassVault is a browser extension that enables users to download and create personal backups of online course videos that they have legitimate access to. The extension operates locally within the user's browser and is intended solely as a personal backup tool.

ClassVault is designed to work with content you have already purchased or have active, authorized access to through your own account. It is not intended to circumvent access controls or copy content you are not authorized to view.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ClassVault only for the following purposes:

  • Creating personal, offline backups of video content you have legitimate access to through your own paid subscription, membership, or enrollment.
  • Viewing downloaded content for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Redistribute, share, upload, or make available any downloaded content to third parties, whether for free or for payment.
  • Use ClassVault to download content you are not authorized to access.
  • Use downloaded content for commercial purposes, including but not limited to reselling, sublicensing, or creating derivative products for sale.
  • Circumvent digital rights management (DRM) systems or technical protection measures using ClassVault.
  • Use ClassVault in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the ClassVault extension.

4. License

4.1 Free Tier

ClassVault offers a free tier that allows up to 3 video downloads without requiring a purchase or account creation. The free tier is subject to these same Terms of Service.

4.2 PRO License

The ClassVault PRO license is a one-time purchase that grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use all features of the ClassVault extension. Specifically:

  • The license is granted to a single individual user and may not be shared, transferred, resold, or assigned to another person.
  • The license includes access to all future updates and new features at no additional cost.
  • The license is for personal use only. If you wish to purchase licenses for a team or organization, contact us at [email protected].

4.3 License Activation

Your PRO license is activated using your email address and a unique license key. You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential. We reserve the right to deactivate licenses that are found to be shared with or used by unauthorized third parties.

5. Payments and Refunds

5.1 Pricing

The current price of the ClassVault PRO license is displayed on our website at the time of purchase. Prices may be subject to applicable VAT or sales tax depending on your location.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept payments via credit/debit card (processed by Stripe), PayPal, and cryptocurrency (processed by NOWPayments). All payments are processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store your payment information.

5.3 Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with ClassVault for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date by contacting [email protected]. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Refund requests made after the 30-day period may be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The ClassVault extension, website, branding, and all associated materials are the intellectual property of Site Masters Agency OÜ. Your purchase grants you a license to use the software; it does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights.

6.2 Third-Party Content

ClassVault does not claim any ownership of or rights to the content you download using the extension. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of downloaded content complies with the terms of service of the platform from which the content originates and all applicable copyright laws.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

7.1 Service "As Is"

ClassVault is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7.2 Third-Party Platforms

We do not guarantee that ClassVault will work with all video platforms, websites, or configurations indefinitely. Third-party platforms may change their technical infrastructure, terms of service, or content delivery methods at any time, which may affect ClassVault's functionality. We make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service with any specific third-party platform.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Site Masters Agency OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the ClassVault PRO license.

8. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring that you have legitimate access to any content you download using ClassVault.
  • Complying with the terms of service of any platform from which you download content.
  • Complying with all applicable local, national, and international laws regarding the backup and storage of digital content.
  • The safekeeping of your license key and account credentials.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license and access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms, including but not limited to redistribution of downloaded content or sharing of your license key. In the event of termination for violation of these Terms, no refund will be issued.

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension. Refund requests are subject to the policy described in Section 5.3.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia and applicable European Union law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also retain the benefit of any mandatory provisions of consumer protection law in your country of residence. Additionally, you may submit disputes to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Site Masters Agency OÜ regarding the use of ClassVault and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and proposals relating to the Service.
